In the publisher's original cloth, in the original dust wrappers.
Wrappers of Cheese, Wines, and Soups are clipped, while wrapper of Without Meat remains unclipped.
All volumes are first editions, except Wines which is the fourth printing.
- Dishes Without Meat, mostly vegetarian, due to the occasional use of meat stock, but Heath collects recipes where meat is not at the centerpiece, including rice and bean dishes.

Dust wrappers are generally bright and clean, with slight smudging and fading to rear wraps.
Signs of edgewear and rubbing to the joints.
Heaviest edgewear to top edges, with colour of wrapper rubbed off to top edge of Without Meat.
A small closed tear to top edge of Wine, and a couple of small tears and chips to top edge of Soups.
End papers are generally bright and clean, with a couple of small spots.
Slightly heavier to front end papers of Without Meat, with small signs of browning to top edge of front pastedown.
