This is an autobiography that should be started at the back first where the Family Tree is located so that one will have a familiarity with the family members.
This book is the story of a family of German ancestry who came to America in the 1700s and moved gradually across the country settling in Western Kansas in Bull City / Buffalo and were a farming family.
The author has a very sharp memory and tells of the lives of many of her family members on the rugged plains of Kansas in great detail.
Written more for family members than the general public it is still a very entertaining look at life in the West from the 1860s to the 1920s.
A clean very presentable copy.
