A signed piece of headed paper by the British engraver, publisher and philanthropist Sir George Measom.
He was best known for his extensive series of official illustrated railway guides, which by the 1860s covered much of the British railway network.
Measom was knighted in 1891 for his charitable and public work, providing the likely date range for the present sheet.
