First edition, 2-volume set complete; recently tastefully rebound in tan cloth with printed paper spine labels, new endpapers, bindings square and tight and like new; all pages with minimal foxing, most of the full-page illustrations have their tissue guards and are very mildly foxed; the 2 large folding engraved frontispieces and the large folding map in Vol.
I have each been professionally rebacked, and are in Very Good condition, all 3 are not folded but have been rolled into a separate tube; 2 professional photocopies have been made of each of these three large images; one copy of each is also rolled, the other copy of each has been folded and placed in a pocket inside the covers of each appropriate volume.
This is a quite attractive and functional set of the original First Edition, in professionally restored condition.
