Jacket art by Nichols' daughter Judy Holtmann.
A tiny bit of ofsetting from the interior of the jacket onto the cloth, very near fine in price-clipped, about very good dust jacket with a sunned spine, several small chips (one at the crown), a short tear, and a bit of light internal staining that barely shows through.
Inscribed by Nichols on the front fly and with a later printed note from him laid down onto the front pastedown addressed "To my Christian Brothers and Sisters.
" Nichols was born in the Yakima Indian Reservation in Washington in 1919.
