Publisher's cloth, gilt lettered to spine, boards a bit discoloured though consistently so, mild offset to endpapers and general dust-soiling, still a very good example, free of ownerships etc., dust wrapper (designed by Gertrude Hermes) is dust-soiled and shelf-worn with a half-inch tear to head of spine, but unclipped and very presentable; a scarce and highly collectable copy of this sci-fi classic, originally published in 1961 and which spawned the 1972 Tarkovsky film.
