First edition bound in gray cloth with red spine lettering. Illustrated through-out by the author-artist in black and white. 8vo size, 310pp. A Very Good+ copy. Binding has tiny rub marks to the corners else clean and tight. Minor toning to the endpapers. A few tiny dust spots to the outer edge of the page blocks else contents are fine. No dj. The author, an artist, tells the story of his families life and internment in Japan during the beginning of WWII. The story is told with both text and pictures on each page.
