Signed by Le Guin and the illustrator Henk Pander on the half-title page. A limited edition from the illustrious Lord John Press consisting of 150 numbered copies and 50 additional numbered copies specially bound. Uncommon, with no other copies available as of this writing. This is the binder's copy. A slender quarto that collects six poems and an essay by Le Guin, all about the eruption of Mount St. Helens. Interspersed are ink and watercolor illustrations by Pander. Red marbled boards bound in black calf stamped in gilt. The interior is printed on Mohawk Superfine. A near fine copy with a hint of rubbing to corners and lower board edges. No dust jacket presumably as issued. A beautiful book from a touchstone Northwest writer about a touchstone Northwest event.
