Attractive later full brown oasis niger morocco, back in two narrow and four larger compartments, gilt lettered in the second, five raised bands, gilt date at foot. Fine clean bright copy. Small name in old sepia ink lined through, ""By Sir Walter Scott"" in sepia ink old hand above the imprint, sepia ink old hand monogram on the verso of the title and pencil date 17 Feb 1823 at the end of the text; otherwise, sheets with natural age toning but clean, fresh, and complete.
