In twelve chapters, this biographer and children's writer presents the locations associated with some of Britain's great literature. There are 14 full page drawings which add considerably to the charm of this book. Interestingly the jacket blurb refers to the title as ""Writers and Places"", so either a late change of mind here, or a bit of an ooops from the blurb writer. There's a neat name on the endpaper and some very minimal wear to extremities but really, a near fine copy. The dust jacket is complete, unclipped, and showing some wear to edges and folds. The previous owner, who signed their name on the endpaper with a fountain pen, closed the book before the ink had dried so there are small faint marks of the ink on the top of front flap. All in all an excellent copy of this scarce and delightful book. MC
