TANGE HAS WARMLY INSCRIBED THIS COPY to the widow of Charles Engelhart (1917-1971), the renowned gold-mining and throroughbred-racing baron who many felt Ian Fleming had modelled his immortal character ""Auric Goldfinger"" after. This is a clean, very well-preserved copy to boot. Tight and Near Fine to Fine in its oatmeal cloth, with titling (in Japanese characters) along the front panel and spine. Folio, hundreds of crisp black-and-white and color photos throughout capturing the breadth of Tange's remarkable career. Also includes the publisher's printed card slipcase and thick stapled booklet of ""English Captions of Kenzo Tange 'Architecture and Urban Planning'"". Very scarce as such.
