A book of poems from 9th Earl of Sandwich, George Charles Montagu - a British Conservative politician who served as chairman of the Central Prisoners of War Committee during the latter years of the First World War.
Verses are organised into three subheadings - Visions, Months and Memories and Other Poems - and include 'Tutankhamen', in tribute to the recent discovery of his tomb and 'A War Offering', which offers an oblique approach to the Great War, represented through the changing character of a 'Woman's hair'.
