Original grayish cloth boards with dark brown leather spine lettered in gilt housed in publisher's matching grayish brown cloth covered slipcase (not issued with dust jacket).
This is the deluxe edition of 300 copies numbered and signed by both authors.
This example includes the original advance order form (the mail-in order part clipped and no longer preset) and a loose sheet advertising the Great CPR Exposition 1983-84 at the Glenbow Museum.
The book and slipcase are in fine condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, very clean, tight binding, probably never used.
The book measures 285mm tall x 222mm and has 192 pages, more than 150 b/w photos, 20 color images including 2 maps as EPs, index.
