It opens with the protagonist waking in a hospital with no memory of the previous six years. It is within those years that a mystery resides: a bewildering secret wherein he is the central figure. Condition of book and jacket: Very Good. The boards are clean and fresh; the corners scarcely rubbed. The top edge has darkened. The pages are clean. The binding is tight. The book does not appear to have been read. The jacket has darkened; this most particularly on the spine. There is some loss to the top edge and spine in particular.
