3 postcards of the Kingston Academy in Kingston New York deemed the oldest Preparatory School in NYS State, founded in 1774 and relocated to a historically significant parcel of open space near the Kingston Uptown Stockade district in 1830, the structure was demolished in 1916, where the School once stood is now called the Academy Green, one postcard has a felt pennant of what might have been the School colors with a 1909 postmark and a handwritten period addressee, a German postcard publisher used a full color illustration on the front of a second postcard that has no markings on the rear, the third postcard has a period photo illustration of what could have been a 1913 May Day celebration without markings on the rear, postcards are in great condition without wrinkles, this offering is a one of a kind deal, if you find another let me know!
