Harcourt Brace & World, New York. 1967. 277 pages. First edition stated, first printing. Book is tight. Binding and hinges are strong and sound. Blue cloth is bright and clean with minor shelf-rubbing. Pages and endpapers are bright and clean. Book has one single flaw keeping it from Near Fine condition; a neatly excised rear endpaper. It is such that you would probably miss it without looking for it, as it is barely noticeable. No effect on the book's binding or rear hinge. Again, it was so neatly excised it is primarily unnoticeable. Tipping-in a new rear endpaper, if desired, is a fairly elementary restorative task. The attractive, original DJ is present, with its $4.75 price intact on flap. DJ shows minor light rubbing along edges, a couple of small, closed edge tears. Small open chip on rear shoulder. small rub to upper, front shoulder. A very nice copy with flaws noted. First edition, first printing.
