First edition. A very good copy. Foxing as well an ink gift inscription to the first free endpaper. Foxing to the outer text block edges, almost never affecting the inside. The contents crisp and nice. In a very good or better, unclipped dust jacket just with a faint soiling to the rear panel and some toning to the verso. A beautiful copy overall. One of the Modern Library’s 100 greatest novels of the century, and the basis for the acclaimed 1969 film.
