Book is square and solid, spine is tight. Wear and dings on top and bottom board edges from shelving, sunning to top of blue cloth spine. Pencil erasure residue on front free endpaper. Not ex-library, no previous owner markings, or book plates. Author signature and inscription (""For Allen"") to previous owner on full title page in black ink. Included is business card from Lee Goerner, who was senior editor at Knopf and, presumably, was Rush's editor for this book (although the inscription on the full title page is not to Goerner). Bright unclipped dust jacket ($14.95 price intact). Spine is slightly faded, some toning to top of flaps and back cover. Presents nicely encased in protective dust jacket cover.
