Only year 1970 on copyright page; no additional printings. Probable first ; Only six Berenstain Beginner books are listed on DJ back flap and all listed were published before 1970. Bears' Christmas is the very last one listed. Also listed are three Bright and Early Books and these were all published before 1970 as well. Illustrated covers are clean and bright; light foxing on edges. Light shelf wear to corners and bottom edge . Binding is firm and fully in tact- pages are well attached - no loose pages. Illustrated front end papers are bright and colorful. Interior pages are clean colorful and bright. No creases, tears or writing. Only one small soil spot on page 15. DJ is NOT price clipped. DJ is bright & colorful but white background is lightly soiled and foxing. DJ has general edge wear along the spine and rubbing. DJ in mylar jacket. Hard to find such an early ""I can Read It All by Myself"" book with a full DJ. Note: We have a closed shop - so our books are not handled by public.
