Smith, June 19th 1834"" The appendix carries a full account of the debates in the House of Commons, 13th Feb 1834, on a motion by Mr Daniel O'Connell for a select Committee to inquire into the conduct of Judge Smith, Motion approved, (Majority 93), and of the debate, 21st Feb 1834, on a motion to rescind the Inquiry, Motion approved, (Majority 6). Sir William Cusack-Smith (1766-1836) was called to the Irish Bar in 1788, became King's Counsel in 1795 and Solicitor General for Ireland in 1800.
