A collection of 13 short stories from the witty Dorothy Parker (including ""Big Blonde"", the author's tribute to an aging party girl). Parker was a founding member of the Algonquin Round Table, wrote for several of the best magazines and literary publications of the twentieth century, and is best remembered for co-writing the screenplay for the 1937 film A Star is Born. Parker's life exemplified that of the 1920's ""New Woman"" Jacket with just a touch of wear and toning.
