Very Good: tight and square binding in sharp green cloth, faded to the spine tips and top-edge; bright gilt, faded publisher's red topstain; browning and light spotting to the edge of the page block; crisp pages, free from marks and inscriptions. The unclipped dustwrapper (15s net stated) is Good+: rubbed to the extremities with a little fraying to the head of the spine; toning to the spine, folds and rear panel; three closed tears to the top-edge - 2cm, 1cm, 1cm - sealed to the verso with archival tape; remains bright and attractive in a removable, archival-quality Brodart protective cover.
