The Zoo Quest series of BBC nature documentaries (1954-1963) were the first to feature David Attenborough. Each expedition travelled to a particular tropical country to collect animals for London Zoo. Attenborough wrote a companion book for each series, and Quest under Capricorn, which gives an account of his expedition to the Northern Territory of Australia, was the last in the series.
