Signed by the following short listed prize poets at their inclusion: David Harsent (The International Winner) Yusef Komunyakaa, Seao O'Brien, Joanna Trzeciak (translator for poet Tadeusz Rozewicz), Ken Babstock (The Canadian Winner) Phil Hall and Jan Zwicky. Additionally signed by Nobel Prize winner Seamus Heaney below the Jan Zwicky biography. At this event, Seamus Heaney was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Heaney had been unable to attend the 2011 Griffin Poetry Prize event for his nominated book ""Human Chain"" due to health issues. His 2012 appearance was not advertised in the brochure nor to the public attendees before the Lifetime Achievement Award announcement at the event.
