WOLF THE MEMOIRS OF A CAVE-DWELLER BY P.B. MCCORD 1908 1ST 12 ILLUSTRATIONS. I am pleased to be able to offer a very nice copy of a vintage action/adventure book for young people titled: ""Wolf-The Memoirs of a Cave-Dweller"" by P.B. McCord with drawings by the Author. This is a scarce if not rare book (only one copy found online) and in very good condition. This small hard cover book (5 ¼ x 7 ½ inches 133 pages) was published by B.W. Dodge & Company of New York dated 1908 and a First Edition with the same date on title and copyright pages. There is a Frontispiece and 11 other plates drawn by the Author dispersed throughout the text. The book is bound in khaki green boards with black & white decorations and titles on cover and spine. Condition: As mentioned, this book is in very good condition; the one found was in poor condition. The hard covers show some bumping to the corners and spine tips and along the gutter but are otherwise generally attractive. Inside a former owner has left his nicely inked signature on the front endpaper and this is the only mark I found in the book. The hinges are intact, but the binding seems a bit shaken and loose but is still together. All the plates are present (I checked) but one (p. 71 is loose). This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
