Product Description

Octavo, 674pp., illustrated. About very good in the publisher's navy boards, stamped in gilt. Foxed on the edges, and the inner hinges loosened, but holding. This copy SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Hershey in a contemporary hand on the verso of the front free endpaper. The front endpapers (illustrated from a photograph) were inserted upside down by the printer. Uncommon signed by Hershey, who oversaw the draft during World War II, the Korean War, and the beginning of the Vietnam War.
