Hardcover, original 1824 publication still in its original full leather binding.
Leather is still soft with some edge and corner wear, spine is darkened.
Leather has not been treated, at least in the last 50 years, and could use a little cleaning.
Internal binding is good, no hinge issues found other than some minor openings starting at boards.
Text pages are secure and binding is tight.
Pages are toned due to age and moderate foxing is present throughout with some pages being quite freckled.
Front pastedown contains two signatures of the first original owners: Andrew B.
Martin and Charles Ready.
No other handwriting found in the book.
