Hardcover with dust jacket.
Stated first printing on the copyright page.
The book has all the proper first edition points: besides the stated first printing dust jacket shows the review by Truman Capote, the $4.95 price, and the print code 4/67 on the bottom of the front flap.
The rear of the jacket shows the proper image of the author with a short bio, the exterior the book is a purplish pink with the author's initials on the front and a darker metallic pink, spine is black cloth silver lettering of the title, though the top page edge stain looks more black than dark blue.
The capital R on the title page is solid, as is the Part 1 through 3 pages.
Dust jacket shows wear to the edges, mainly chips and small tears, the longest one being just over 1/2 inch.
The edges of the rear flap shows toning as does the spine where there is also a blue stain.
Cloth of paper boards underneath also show light toning to the top edge and the biggest issue is a small dent near the lower right corner of the rear board.
Internal binding is good and the text pages are tight.
There are no signatures, no bookplates, no library markings, nothing torn or loose.
The front end page is stamped with a circled H and there is a faint brush on the right side exterior fore edge of the same ink used.
There are no remainder marks on the bottom of the book but the circled H may be one.
There is light foxing spots on both pastedowns and opposite end pages, as well as the dust jacket flaps.
The text pages are clean without issues.
There is also some light spotting to the top edge stain, particularly around the hinge area.
Jacket has been placed in a protective mylar sleeve after photos were taken.
