Susan Beatrice Pearse (1878-1980), Beautiful Original Painting of a Baby being bathed. Painted on card that measures approximately 9.5 x 12 inches. Made using watercolour, pencil and what looks like either pastel or charcoal. There is also a tissue-paper onlay and this has a sketch of the painting on it. Circa 1920s and likely to have been painted for a book or magazine, possibly for an advert. A lovely painting by this gifted artist, best known for her illustrations in the Ameliaranne series of books.
