First Edition, First Printing, as designated by First Edition and full number line (beginning with 2) printed on copyright page, as was the protocol for the publisher at this time (subsequent printings dropped the First Edition statement on the copyright page). A near fine, signed hardcover copy, dark blue covered boards, red covered spine with gold lettering. Book is solid, spine is straight. Bottom board corners are bumped, wear on bottom board edges from typical shelving. Not ex-library, no previous owner markings, book plates, or remainder marks. Looks unread. Author signature only on full title page in black Sharpie. Although not indicated anywhere, this book was signed at the Fall for the Book Festival in Fairfax VA in September 2012, at which the author was a featured author. Bright, near fine, unclipped dust jacket ($22.95 price intact). Wear/scratches on back cover, probably from shelving. Encased in protective dust jacket cover. Shipped in well-padded box.
