Together is an autobiographical travel study that detail the Austrian alpine village where Douglas grew up. Norman Douglas was a British writer most known for his 1971 novel South Wind which details a fictionalised account of life on the Island of Capri. He was also known for his travel writing which combined insight and fine prose.This copy is number 94 of only 275 copies printed of this large paper edition and is signed by the author. There are a number of plate illustrations throughout. In full cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some fading and bumping to the spine and some light fading to the boards.
