Description

Quarto, 242pp., illustrated. Except for 3 nicks on the rear board, a fine copy in orange and black cloth. On pages 37-42 appears an essay by F. Scott Fitzgerald entitled ""Princeton."" The essays in this volume are followed by a photograph and a bio of each graduate. Where a picture is missing and explanation is given stating ""photograph was not supplied by the graduate."" But when one gets to F Scott Fitzgerald the following is printed: ""One of his admirers of whom he has several, has apparently stolen the only photograph of Scott Fitzgerald that we had in our archives. However, on a later page of this Record (See the article, ""Princeton"" ) there is a swell drawing of him made by James Montgomery Flagg, so that pictorially the loss is by no means complete."" Scarce. Bruccoli B12.
