Hardcover, original 1823 publication still in its original full leather binding.
Leather is still soft with some edge and corner wear, spine is darkened and rear board shows soiling as well.
Leather has not been treated, at least in the last 50 years, and could use a little cleaning.
Internal binding is good, no hinge issues found.
Pages are toned due to age and scattered foxing is present throughout with some pages being quite freckled.
Front pastedown contains two signatures of the first original owner: Andrew B.
Martin and his signature also appears opposite the copyright page.
No other handwriting found in the book.
Note: this is the original publication from the 1800s and not a modern reprint.
This is volume 7 only as each volume was published independent of each other and over a range of multiple years.
