The book is a spoof on classic Mother Goose rhymes (such as Old Mother Hubbard, Jack and Jill, Hickory Dickory Dock, Little Miss Muffet, etc.) retold for antique collectors. Condition: The perimeter of the covers are lightly age-toned. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. The text pages are clean and appear unread with no issues found. Light tanning to the end papers and pastedowns from the jacket flaps. There is an inscription written in pen dated 1927 on the front end paper. Overall the book is in Very Good+ condition. The dust jacket has pieces missing at the top and bottom edges of the spine and at the top flap corners; the paper has somewhat faded at the spine.overall the jacket is in Good condition.
