Description

4to. Pp. 160. Foreword by David Mendoza. Critical essay by Sheila Farr, with an essay of the artist and his home by Linda Tesner. Bound in tan cloth over photo-illustrated paper-covered boards. Signed by Adams on the half-title page. Adams, a member of the Yakama Nation in Eastern Washington, won early acclaim at the Bellevue Arts and Crafts festival; his house, featured prominently in the luxe photos here, was built of modest means on a parcel of land on the northern edge of the Yakama reservation. Farr is a longtime ""Seattle Times"" and ""Seattle Weekly"" art critic. Mendoza was director of Seattle's Foster/White Gallery, where Leo Adams was represented. Bookseller inventory C09141X29W.
