Lizzie Yu Der Ling (1881-1944), also known as Princess Der Ling, and following her marriage as Elisabeth Antoinette White, was the daughter of a Chinese diplomat. She was the first lady-in-waiting of the Empress Dowager Cixi, during which time she was given the title of 'commandery princess'. She wrote several memoirs about her life in China. Scarce.
