First UK Edition in publisher's price-clipped and re-priced dustwrapper at 7/6 net to the inside flap. pp 288. Publisher's blue cloth with gilt titles to spine. Boards exceedingly bright and clean. No inscriptions. Spine tips bruised and top edge mildly dusty otherwise an absolutely fine copy with the gilt to the spine bright, clear and un-faded. A really lovely example. The fine dustwrapper is minisculy rubbed at the tip and tail of the spine but with the red title lettering totally un-faded and very scarce thus. Beautifully clean back panel. Being hyper-critical there are 3, short, closed tears to the verso of the wrapper that have been historically repaired with what appears to be scotch tape. Great cover art by Fritz Wegner. Further photographs available upon request.
