Newcomb was a professor of the history of architecture at the University of Illinois. Original very clean publisher's blue cloth with a gilt stamped Mission vignette on front cover, bright gilt title to spine. Book is FINE, previous owner tasteful bookplate on front pastedown, hidden by jacket flap, no other writing, SCARCE dustjacket is near FINE, light sunning to spine and some on rear panel, no rips or tears, nice gilt on blue paper.
