1977 portfolio featuring ten prints with all-new color illustrations of legendary comics creator Will Eisner's best-known creation, the Spirit, an eleventh plate of his sketch artwork, and a printed introductory sheet. The front cover of the cloth portfolio case and the interior pastedowns also reproduce original Spirit artwork. The first color plate is signed by Will Eisner. Limited run of 1500 copies. Measures approximately 12 inches by 16.5 inches. First edition (first printing). Signed and numbered by Eisner on the first plate. The introductory plate is foxed; the other plates are fine. The portfolio has minor wear to the corners but is otherwise fine. The original certificate of authenticity is not present.
