There are three components to this item.
The first is a walnut box that has a cameo in black of Emily Carr on the lid.
Attached to the box is a brown ribbon which assist in the removal of a second component of this item the book which has tan covers with brown lettering and a brown leather cover.
The book contains 223 pages, is signed and numbered, 92/250, on the colophon by the author, Emily Carr.
The end papers are brown, gray-green and tan marbled papers.
There are multiple black-and-white images, as well as, color tipped in images including the frontispiece.
The book is approximately 13 1/2 inches by 11 1/2 inches by 2 inches and fits nicely into the well constructed walnut box which measures, approximately on the outside 19 3/4 by 16 3/4 by 3/14.
The third and last component is an off white paper folio that contains six loosely laid in reproductions of the artists charcoal drawings, each separated by a tissue guard.
Each is numbered and the table of contents page is also signed and numbered by Ms.
Shadbolt.
The numbers of the prints and the book are all the same.
The book appears to be in unread condition, the walnut box appears to have stain from where something like a cup may have been set on it on the lower left corner of the box, and there are some folds to the tissue guards a smudge or two on the folios cover and in the margin of one of the images.
This is a heavy item and will require additional postage.
