Product Description

A 1st (F&R colophon on the copyright page) of a Nero Wolfe double mystery from the early 1940s. Some edge wear to the DJ. Loss at the bottom of the spine ranging from 1.25" to .5" .25" loss at the top of the spine. Tape ghosts on the DJ flaps. $2.00 price is present on the front flap. Tape repairs to the spine hinges that are mostly visible from the inside. It appears the panels of the DJ may have been separated at the spine hinges, but they are held in place by the tape repairs and the DJ protector. This is fairly unobtrusive and can mostly be seen by close inspection. Light edge wear to the boards that are clean with sharp black lettering. The pages are clean and the binding tight. It presents better than it sounds. Overall a very good book with a good DJ of a hard to find edition, particularly in DJ.
