1st edition hardcover in marked and somewhat tired salmon colored cloth with yellow spine title has color loss at lightly bumped (not rubbed) tips and a few dents in the board at head of spine. 107pp text crisp & unmarked. Professionally reproduced unclipped dj in new mylar shows rubbing at head of spine and upper fore edge. Described with a mass of detail and filled with charming Michael Lyne b/w sketches and a b/w photo of the mask, mounted by Rowland Ward, taxidermist. Ward stated that Hym's was the largest mask he had ever preserved. Hym's life story includes a series of hunts in which this dog fox was the quarry, round and about some of the most famous coverts in the Shires.
