Near-Folio size facsimile of Blake's original in the Library of Congress.
#239 of a limited 426.
Quarter bound in chocolate leather, gilt ruled over marbled boards, top edge gilt, in a matching marbled slipcase.
Formerly housed in the Special Collections room of the Philadelphia Library College of Art and bearing its stamp, the spine is worn and the gilt ruling and top edge have gone slightly brassy, but otherwise the book is Fine, and appears unread.
The matching slipcase is worn on the lips, but is otherwise in very good shape.
Printed on pure rag paper to match Blake's, with Blake's monogram imprinted on each page.
The illuminated pages were reproduced by a collotype and stencil process.
With introductory and editorial material by Geoffrey Keynes.
Another superb Blake facsimile by Trianon.
