No inscriptions or blemishes in the text. No Dust wrapper. Simple rhymes illustrated with Bruna's distinctive simple forms and vivid primary colour pictures tell the story of an Apple who goes on a journey of discovery. This is the first English edition of Bruna's first book which appeared in the Netherlands in 1953. Two years later he would create the iconic 'Miffy'. This title is printed in the rectangular format which after 1959 Bruna would abandon in favour of square formats.
