No copyright date, but 1991 is stamped in gilt on the spine along with the title. Henry Tull Jackson (1909-1985) was born in North Carolina. In WWII he was in North Africa, China, Burma, and India. The bulk of the entries are personal letters to his wife. He died in High Point, North Carolina.
