First printing elegantly rebound in 3/4 leather, barred spine, gilt outer page edges on top of the book, and orange marbled covers, front and rear pastedowns and end pages.
The book has sound hinges and does not lean.
Pages show moderate toning, light soiling and occasional foxing, smudges, etc.
There is light soiling to the orange marbling brown leather covers.
There is very little rub wear to top and bottom edges of covers, corner tips.
Cover corners are not bumped.
The book's outer page edges are soiled and toned.
There is a chip in the lower right corner of the third free end page.
Still, a very handsome volume.
