One of 650 copies printed specifically for Frost (of a total print run of 8,290).
However, this copy contains two distinctive features: as with one of the 22 copies in the Barrett collection, Frost, in addition to signing, has also scored through "My" on the title page and wrote in "The.
" This is the title used for the poem when it was published in 1962's The Clearing.
Also, this copy has been hand-painted (by an unknown hand) with abstract brown strokes on the engravings, the copyright page, and several blank leaves.
The staples have been carefully removed, and there is a closed tear on the front flap, else fine.
