Bespoke full fine leather, decoratively stamped to cover and spine after the intricate drawings by Jessie Marion King. Quarto. Original pictorial endpapers front and rear after drawings by Jessie Marion King, beautifully illustrated with 16 lithographs after the watercolours by Jessie Marion King, tipped in on bordered mounts, and further black-and-white drawings, the text is printed on heavy paper. Top Edge Gilt , the other two edges uncut.Binding in excellent condition, internally, offsetting and yellowing of endpapers commensurate with age, some occasional staining and spotting, some pages with a small corner fold, exposed uneven rough-cut (deckled, as issued) worn and darkened by age of over 100 years.
