1900. Large folio with 23 full page colour lithographs featuring buildings, closes and streets of Old Edinburgh which have been "removed or altered under recent improvement schemes". With descriptive letterpress by John Reid. There is no indication of who the artist or artists were apart from the frontispiece portrait of 'The City Officer' which has a signature 'M. Cameron 1894'. Publisher's khaki/brown cloth with gilt titles and crest to the upper board. Light wear to spine ends and corners. Light foxing to the title page and very occasional light foxing to some pages though the plates are very clean and free from foxing. No inscriptions.
