No jacket.
With a tissue guarded frontispiece by Grace Henry.
Signed, dated and dedicated to the previous owner by the author in black ink directly to front end-paper.
Also has a letter (bit creased/browned) loosely inserted from the author to the same recipient.
Green boards with gold lettering to spine (name of publisher at tail of spine has the gold worn away) are only good with pushing/bumping to corners, numerous small marks, little patchy darkening (including to spine), a few small bumps to edges, patchy rubbing to edges, a few small scratches, little rubbing to top surface and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/bumping/slight fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine.
Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight.
Top edge of pages dyed green have the odd small mark/few small scratches.
Small mark to lower corner of pages.
Pages bit tanned.
Inside boards/end-papers tanned.
Bookseller's small sticker inside front board.
Odd small marks/mild foxing to page edges and bottoms.
Occasional small marks/scattered foxing to pages.
No other faults.
